Winter Camps

Winter Camps

Training through the winter is one of the hardest parts of triathlon. As much as we love to swim, bike and run, the cold and dark seems to sap the desire to get out there. The best solution is to find a warm weather spot and get in the miles!
The Cycling House in Tucson, AZ. This is the perfect training environment for a training camp since all you have to do is swim, bike, run and recover. The guys at TCH will pick you up from the airport and assemble your bike. All meals are taken care of and cooked for you using fresh ingredients. Hammer Nutrition products are available as are fitballs and HED and PowerTap wheel demos. They also provide any service needed to your bike. D3 coaches would also be there giving talks about nutrition, pacing, training and answering all of your questions. I spent a week at TCH and it truly was first class all the way!
Right now we have two dates in mind, both in January. The first would be the 3rd-9th at $1795.00 per rider and the second is the 13th-18th for $1595 per rider. Again, this is everything but airfare and I found round trip flights for less than $150 on Expedia. The length of stay is not set in stone so if the demand is there for a shorter camp we can adjust.
