Jim Hallberg

I believe that every one of us has the capacity to improve our efficiency, get stronger and run, bike or swim faster. Sure, it takes time, dedication and discipline but it’s possible. Working with an experienced coach can make sure that your efforts are targeted in the right areas to make sure you reach those goals! If you are training for running events such as 5K, 10K, half marathon, or marathon, I can help you gain efficiency and speed through proper running mechanics, drills, and more. If you are a triathlete racing Sprint, Olympic, Half- or Full-Ironman distances, I can help you build endurance, get faster, and gain confidence. If you are a cyclist looking to move up in category, I can help you develop more power, improve your endurance, gain speed, and climb better.

Some athletes spend too much time focusing solely on their strengths or just on their weaknesses. As a coach I believe you should work on both. Your strengths can give you a competitive edge in one or more of the disciplines, but spend an inordinate amount of time on them and you can forgo progress in other areas. Not enough time and you’ll see them diminish. Same with your weaknesses, but together we’ll build a plan to balance the two and make you the best overall athlete you can be!

If you’re a great swimmer, I’ll build a plan that keeps you fast in the water. If you bike well, but there’s room for improvement, I’ll design your workouts to do just that. And if you find yourself losing ground on the run I’ll work with you to pinpoint exactly what needs to change to get you the results you’re looking for!

It doesn’t matter if you’re a novice or professional, Junior or Master, my goal is to help you reach yours!
