And it's working. I first used D3's Ironman Wisconsin training plan for IMWI 2015. This was my first full IM and I knew I needed a solid training plan that would prepare me to go the distance. After looking at several different plans I settled on D3 Multisport. When I decided on my second IM, I immediately went to D3 Multisport and picked a race-specific plan for IMAZ 2018. This plan was another solid plan and got me to the finish line a full 60 minutes faster than my first. Mike's plans are easy to follow and structured in such a way that I never felt overwhelmed or stressed that I could not complete any of the individual workouts. The few times that I wasn't clear about a workout I emailed Mike for clarification and he was always quick to respond with an explanation. I haven't picked my next full IM yet, but I will definitely use a training plan from D3 and Michael. Thank you for helping me hit my goals D3 Multisport!

Having completed multiple triathlons including an Ironman and 15 half Ironmans races, I have a lot of knowledge and inspiration from reading all the books on triathlon training, listening to the podcasts, and watching the videos on all the training “secrets" out there, but, when it came time to build a program and get results I have found that the D3 Training Programs have been the best. Both the pre-built and coached training plans have been put to the test with great success. The D3 Training Plans allow me to focus on training, take away the guesswork on how hard or far or type of training is, and help establish focused goals. And goals don’t have to be win an age group or qualifying for world championship place, sometimes goals focus on completing a challenging race and feeling strong.  Being part of the D3 Coaching family has also allowed me to attend training camps with fellow triathletes, be able to share victories, and defeats, or just ask questions and get even more support from the D3 group on social media.

"0 to 70.3 in 12 Weeks" I decided to spontaneously sign up for an Ironman 70.3 giving myself only three months to train. After searching the internet, I found Mike's 12-week plan and directly contacted Mike about it. We then hopped on a call where he asked me my goals, how much time I had to train, what my strengths and weaknesses were, and my current fitness level. (I was barely able to run more than 2 miles without stopping and could not swim more than 200 meters without taking a break). Mike then adjusted the detailed plan according to my needs.This was exactly what I needed in order to stay on track, build endurance, and get faster. It helped me stay focused on my goal, taught me about various metrics athletes use to track their fitness, and helped me prepare for all the challenges that would be coming my way on race day. After following his plan and watching all the videos, I felt rested, and executed with the right mindset on race day. I completed the race 1.5 hours faster than my goal. I joined D3 in 2021 looking to get back into shape after covid lockdowns. I spoke with Coach Mike Ricci and he was able to develop a plan to bring me to the next level. The workouts went right to my training peaks, Garmin watch and Zwift. There were hard days but enough easier days with active recovery so I never felt beat up. I raced Eagleman 70.3 and felt incredibly strong. That race earned me a spot in The 70.3 World Championships.The course in Utah was ridiculously difficult but I was very prepared.The cherry on top is that Coach wrote me a marathon schedule for the Philadelphia Marathon 8 weeks after St. George. I had no idea what to expect but I wound up running a time I have not seen in over 12 years! I qualified for the Boston Marathon by 12 minutes. I’m looking forward to Boston training with Coach Mike! PS- 1st Place in Division in this race gets cookies! My daughter gladly took them off of my hands!
